Hi, l’m John Brown! Texas born and raised. Back when I was a teenager, I used to hang out in the radio studio with a friend of mine who was a disc jockey. I was always mesmerized by the magic of radio as I watched my friend do his show. One evening, about halfway through his radio program he got an emergency phone call from home and needed to leave. My friend looked at me and asked, “Do you think you can finish my show for me?” I was in shock! Me on the radio! Emphatically told him, “Yes!”…lol…What was I thinking? He left, I put on his headphones, turned on the microphone and said to the listening world, “John Brown is on the air!” Well, the rest is history. l fell deeply in love with radio all those years ago and it has been in my blood ever since. The greatest thrill I get from radio broadcasting is connecting with YOU the radio listener and perhaps adding something positive to your day.
