Kris Moore was born in Wichita, Kansas on December 6th. Kris says her parents were quite different, her Mom was a very sweet farm girl from Big Spring and her Dad was a Bomber Pilot in the USAF from Chicago. Kris started her radio career in College after winning a Radio Contest and the DJ asked her have you ever thought about a career in Radio? Since that day Kris Moore can tell more than a few stories about her career in radio! Rumor has it that Kris consulted Willie Nelson on a few albums shortly after meeting the Red Headed Stranger … however that is just a rumor … Kris has yet to confirm or deny it. Garth Brooks would swear that Kris is the reason he made it in Country Radio … Kris just laughs if asked about it! Kris loves interviewing all the artists that make it through the MyCountry studio She is just waiting for the next George Straight! Kris is a proud mother of 3 wonderful boys and 2 kitties Cheddar and Baby Kitty, 2 Caique Parrots Harry and Alice and 1 Beta Fish, Jelly. Kris has her hands full with her radio job not to mention the awards she’s rounded up from the MRT as Midland’s Favorite DJ, and in the Odessa Regional Paper as Favorite Morning Show and Station and 3 years in a row My Country as Favorite Radio Station in the MRT!
